The clinic opened at 1449 C Ward, Laxmipuri, in 1984 and has never moved. The treatment rooms, the oil recipes and the habit of reading the pulse before writing anything are unchanged.

He opened Kolhapur’s first Ayurveda Panchakarma centre here in 1984 and practised at the same desk for more than forty years. A Nadi Vaidya above all, he read the pulse before anything else and did not prescribe until he understood the person.
